Even though (this harsh and brutal) winter is probably quite a novelty, you will probably tire of it soon enough! And then you will dream of summer, and possibly even the somewhat Canadian tradition of spending a bit of time at a cottage by a lake! Katherine and I spend about three weeks a summer there, and actually rent it out by the week for guests looking for their little bit of cottage paradise. If this possibly interests you, get in touch sometime (preferred rates offered to friends of JRSNinthebay of course!)
I love the calendar idea - wish I'd thought of it for our exchange! It's not too late, though, to go through all our digital pix and get one done. It sounds like you're making the most of the winter, don't take my brother too seriously when he says that the novelty of winter will wear off - that's just for us Canadians that have to do this every year!
